Registration for the March session of IC Bus University is now open.
Registration for the March session of IC Bus University is now open. The dates for the spring session are March 15, 2010 through March 19, 2010. To date, over 300 school bus technicians have attended IC Bus University sessions.
Attendees can register by contacting their IC Bus dealer and obtaining a voucher. Cost for the session is $300. Once a voucher number is obtained, registration will be on-line. Contact your IC Bus dealer for more detailed registration information.
IC Bus University sessions will begin the afternoon of March 15th. Attendees should plan to arrive in Tulsa, OK prior to noon on the 15th. Return flights should not be scheduled prior to 1:30 pm on March 19th.
Monday-plant tour for 1:00 until 5:00. Evening session from 7:00-9:00 pm at the host hotel (Doubletree at Warren Place in Tulsa, OK) on the Meritor Wabco full power hydraulic brake system. Monday lunch will be at the host hotel.
Tuesday through Thursday-attendees will cycle through three eight hour classes on bus electronics, Maxxforce engines and bus maintenance. Lunch sessions will begin on Tuesday and continue through Thursday on Specialty Manufacturing stop arms and crossing gates, Koroseal floor care and Hankook tires. Evening sessions on Tuesday through Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 pm will cover Ricon lifts, IC Bus air conditioning and Braun lifts.
Friday-4 hour session on Allison transmissions from 8:00 until 12:00. Box lunch and transportation to the Tulsa Airport.
Attendees are responsible for their transportation to and from Tulsa, OK, hotel room (host hotel rate includes daily breakfast buffet) and evening meal. IC Bus will furnish all daily transportation including airport pickup and return to the airport at the conclusion of the session, lunch Monday through Friday, manuals and materials, snacks and soft drinks/bottled water and all instruction.
