J.D. Power and Associates’ also ranked International truck dealerships highest in Parts in this year’s customer satisfaction survey.
This is up from International’s 3rd place ranking in Parts in 2009. For 2010, Freightliner came in 2nd, Kenworth 3rd, Mack 4th, and Peterbilt 5th. International also ranked 16 index points above the industry average.
Customer satisfaction with Parts from International dealers ranked highest for Parts Availability, Parts Personnel, and Price/Credit.
Parts Availability accounted for 24% of the truck owner’s satisfaction with Parts from all OEMs, followed closely by Parts Personnel (22%) and Parts Facility (22%). Other factors considered included Parts Price and Parts Quality.
